Skol! Welcome to Skipot, a ski area we call singular — which is, admittedly, what everyone says. Except that we really are not an ordinary commercial resort.
We built Skipot on an open meadow — more precisely on a clearing left by a great windstorm. Out of nothing but a love of skiing, which worked its way into every metre of the slope. Enthusiasts became professionals, and the first visitors became a family that has grown over the years — over the winters, really — by hundreds of loyal skiers and snowboarders.
None of them come here for kilometres of alpine piste. They come because this is where their skis and boards are at home.
Come and see. Sooner or later you will say it yourself: not huge, but mine.
A slope with character
At 700 to 800 metres above sea level, over a kilometre of runs awaits you. The red has an average gradient of 23 %.
When the snow allows, we cut a snowpark worthy of the Alps: jumps, banked turns, honest moguls, tunnels.
Children can learn on 120 metres of children's slope with 15 metres of descent — under the experienced eye of the instructors at our Skipoťáček ski school.

Why you will come to love it here
Out of the car, straight into the bindings
You park literally a few steps from the lift. Ten metres and you are stepping into your boots. Priceless with children; standard for us.
A lift without the queue
A T-bar carrying 1,200 people an hour. Here you ski rather than stand in line.
Corduroy morning and evening
We groom twice a day: before night skiing and after it. Morning or evening, you set off on fresh corduroy.
Snow at any cost
Modern snowmaking covers 100 % of the area. The moment it freezes, we start — and the season runs at full strength.
Equipment rental
Ski only occasionally, so buying your own is not worth it? Or have the children outgrown everything again? From skis and boards to helmets, we lend it all and adjust it on the spot.
Snowpark
As soon as it snows properly, we push rollers into the slope. And when there is plenty, we dig a tunnel too. The ideal place to mess about, on skis or a board.
How to find us
We are in Potůčky, right on the German border. Half an hour by car from Karlovy Vary, though the train or the bus work just as well — the stop is a short walk away. We look forward to seeing you!
